Step 02

We Arrange Your Vehicle Pickup

Once a carrier is assigned, you will coordinate the specific pickup date, time, and location directly with the independent driver. For your convenience, pickups can be arranged even if you are not present, provided a designated personnel by you.

Important Verification: Upon the driver’s arrival, you (or your representative) must verify the driver’s license and the carrier’s insurance credentials to ensure they match the Dispatch Sheet provided by Capstone Auto Trans.

The Inspection: You and the driver will perform a joint inspection of the vehicle and document its condition on the Bill of Lading (BOL). Both parties must sign this document. Once the vehicle is loaded, the carrier assumes direct liability for its safety under their insurance policy. You can track your vehicle’s progress by calling the driver directly or contacting our support team via chat.

Step 03

Vehicle Delivery and Final Inspection

The moment you are reunited with your vehicle is important, and ensuring it has arrived safely is our top priority. To protect your interests, please follow these mandatory delivery steps:

Thorough Inspection: Before the driver leaves, you must conduct a complete walk-around inspection of your vehicle in adequate lighting.

Note Damages on BOL: If you identify any new damage, it must be clearly documented on the Bill of Lading (BOL) before you sign it. Per industry standards and our contract, claims cannot be processed if the damage is not noted on the final BOL.

Insurance Claims: If damage is found, you have the right to contact the carrier’s insurance company directly to initiate a claim. Capstone Auto Trans will provide you with all necessary carrier documentation to support your direct claim with their insurer.

Final Signature: Your signature on the delivery BOL confirms that the vehicle was received in satisfactory condition, except for any noted discrepancies.
